My very sexy 2014!

Lots of exciting things happened this year, on the scene and to it and I was lucky enough to be involved in a lot of it... here are some of my faves (basically the ones I can remember...hey, it's been a long year and I was too busy partying to remember most of it.)

Fetish Icon Cynth Icorn and naughty party planner John Blue kicked off March at their second decadent mansion party House Of Shadows. Fetish met with opulence for a naughty night in fantasy heaven with little surprises at every turn. Although they are sadly no longer running something tells me they'll be back.

Wasteland celebrated their 20th Anniversary this year in Amsterdam this April, Wasteland is al about fun and is a great place for all members of the community to hang out, LGBQT friendly and founded in 1994 with the goal of bringing the underground scene into the open. Happy Birthday Wasteland and thank you for 20 years of being awesome. See you next year.

 In May sexpert Auntie Angel gave the world The Grapefruit Technique, promising that "When you grapefruit your man it's going to make him feel like you're giving him head and fucking him at the same time." The video now has 2,102,141 views and many fans including this one. Personally I toned down the sound effects but each to their own. If you haven't seen it I urge you to watch it and give it a go. Come June I was lucky enough to not only attend but also co-host my first Brighton Killing Kittens event. I was so surprised by just how sexy everyone was and I was a bit like a kid in a sweet shop. Coming from a Fetish angle and having only attended your bog standard swingers events it was great to see how an elite sex party works. Something else exciting happened in June, although not to me, this time in the sexual science world. Condoms have a bad rep and they're not getting used as much as they should but that might be set to change. On the 1st of June Charles Powell put up his condom Galactic Cap on crowdfunding site Indiegogo - a condom which only covers the head of the penis and not only doesn't negatively impact sex but may actually enhance it, I'll be first in line to check them out but what do you guys think?

By June 30th they had exceeded their goal and raised $100,557 which "will go towards bringing the Gelactic Tip to the masses".

July was the month of both London (4th-7th) and my home town Brighton's (27th-29th) Fetish Weekends. I was lucky enough to be working for latex clothes and accessories brand Sacred Latex modelling some of their seriously sexy designs in Brighton's 2nd Fetish Weekend.

In August I co-hosted and modelled for Fetish Pride a new celebration of Fetish Art, at Brighton Arts Club. I was a performance Art Piece in a glass box which got VERY hot VERY quickly.

In September I had a lot of fun with my little cameo roles in Freak the movie, a short made by Goddamn Media. With the world turned on it's head where Fetish is the norm and everything else ridiculed...the film is loaded with political and social messages and although it has gloomy undertones it was a lot of fun to be involved in. Loads of people from the Brighton scene showed up and I think everyone was just excited to get dressed up and show everyone their new toys. Look I got to dress up as a Gas Mask School girl - outfit models own! ;)

Adult Film Star James Deen won the Nightmoves Award for Best Male Performer in October and rightly so, I can't believe anyone else was even in the running - I may have a little crush. What interested me most about it though was the juxtaposition of it being hosted by Ron Jeremy porn star of old... what I love most (this is a blatant lie, we all know what I love most about him but go with it) about James Deen is what he represents in porn. They have finally caught on to how many women want it, watch it and wank off to it and they have finally stopped giving us men that look like this:

But October is really only about one thing where I come from, and that's Halloween Torture Garden. Which happens not only once but twice due to popular demand. A visual overload of fetish fantasy - people go all out and come from all over the world to pose and play. This years first event the weekend before the 30th seemed a little more old school without the overly commercial element I felt over the last few years. As ever, even with the events split it's almost always too busy and this years was no exception. Being small has some perks, ducking in and out of the crowds but also some downsides - I'm almost always at sweaty, smelly armpit level.

On the 1st November in a Private estate with acres of land the biggest names in the Fetish and Sex Party industries, Torture Gardens and Killing Kittens teamed up to bring you the launch of Torture Kittens   "...a self indulgent journey through Heaven and Hell, mixing Torture Gardens sensory overload with the notorious Killing Kittens debauchery giving you a match made in hedonistic hell." and they did not disappoint have a look at this review by Timeout.

On the 15th the Thistle Hotel was taken over by the best in the Brighton Burlesque business as we held our very first Brighton Burlesque Festival (South Coast Swing Events) I was a professional mingler for the day and got to see lots of faces old and new. There were stalls filled with body stockings, light bondage equipment and plenty nipple tassels to go around including sex shop and Brighton Killing Kitten sponsors (Ask me for the discount code)  LUST! 

I got to see some incredible new performers and some good friends but missed a few I'm looking forward to seeing next year. Loved seeing Miss Proud and the sexiest (and sweetest) girl in Brighton Crystal King performing her Jessica Rabbit routine, she's not bad her Burlesque alter ego just makes her that way.

 I was totally blown away by Hoop artist Chi Chi Revolver who I had somehow managed to miss every other time our paths crossed...with her undeniable talent and body to match I had to go and pick everyone's jaw up off the floor after her performance.

 November also had Brian Sloan creator of the blow job machine started his crowdfunding plea (also on Indiegogo) to raise money for his new invention, The Swiss Army Knife of the sex toy market the Happy Slapper Vibrator, check out all the exciting things you can do with it in their cheeky promotional video . I can't wait to get my hands on one and you can get yours to in Spring of 2015.

Anticipation

I think December might have just been my favourite month of the year, or, you know, the most recent. Throwing my most exciting Brighton Killing Kittens  yet in a stunning hotel with themed rooms, big round beds and baths that seat 7. The Fizz and Oyster reception whilst everyone's checking each other out might just be my fave bit...the anticipation and little sexy glances makes the air feel horny. Everyone there was as smoking hot as ever and the girls were moaning their heads off well until the early hours which always makes me happy...I can't wait for Killing Kittens Brighton 2015 to show you all the exciting things I have planned for it.

On the 1st all UK BSDM enthusiasts, excluding of course the ones repressing their needs in Parliment) were shocked when we had all our favourite things banned from UK porn...some of the ridiculous things that are now illegal to in our porn  include - spanking, squirting, fisting and face sitting. Basically anything fun...and fundamentally for female pleasure (but that's for another blog post) It only took 12 days for us all to get down to the House of Parliments to take part in a mass face sitting protest.
